The Robert Morris Ice House is located at the site of the President's House, on the southeast corner of 6th and Market Street. If you are at the site, face the Liberty Bell pavilion. The remains of the Ice House are under the pavilion.
The James Dexter House stood at the site of the National Constitution Center, specifically, it is to the right of the front entrance where the bus drop-off area begins. To listen to this episode, walk North along 5th Street. Stop on 5th Street, halfway between Arch & Race Street and look towards the Constitution Center.
218 Arch Street is now a residential condo building. If you are at the site, walk east and turn right down Little Boy's Court. The condo has a sunken courtyard. That is the location of the bulk of the human remains excavated at this site.
The best vantage point for this stop is across the street. Stand in front of the CVS on the northeast corner of Market and 3rd Street and look south to 300 Market Street.
Stand on the corner of the site of the Museum of the Revolutionary War (3rd & Chestnut Streets). Look east down Chestnut Street which would have been the frontage of the Jayne Building.
If walking south down 3rd Street, turn left down the alley of Dock Street. Dock Street is all that is left of Dock Creek, a stream that flowed into the Delaware River. Keep left to walk behind the City Tavern and exit onto 2nd Street. Welcome Park is directly ahead, across 2nd St to the left.
Walk South down 2nd St and stop in front of the Society Hill Towers for the first half of this episodes. At 6.45, the episode shifts to the Powell House, located at 252 S 3rd St. Proceed to the Powell House for the second half of the episode.
